Public Consultation on Elmbridge Council Electoral Cycle
Elmbridge Council has launched a public consultation seeking residents’ views on whether the Council should retain its current electoral cycle, under which the Council is elected by thirds with elections spread over thress years, or move to a system of electing the whole Council once every four years.

Leaflets have been printed and are being distributed to the Centres, Libraries and will be available at the Civic Centre Reception. Notices will similarly be displayed on Council Noticeboards across the Borough and press releases have been issued. Consultation is also being undertaken directly with Members of Parliament; Surrey County Council; Claygate Parish Council; Election Agents and other interested parties.
We would encourage anyone with an interest to look at the consultation and submit their views.
