On Street Parking Enforcement

Currently on street parking charges and related issues are managed by Elmbridge Council (EBC) on behalf of Surrey County Council (SCC). As of 1st April, the contract with EBC will cease and full responsibility for on street parking charges and associated matters will rest with SCC . Off street parking charges and car parks will still be the responsibility of EBC.

We have been advised that from 1 April 2023, SCC will be responsible for all on street parking enforcement throughout the county, including Elmbridge. This includes on street residents permits, applying for suspensions, appeals and paying penalties, as well as debt recovery.

EBC will continue to manage borough car parks and any penalty notices issued within them.

Erlmbridge will update its website and issue communications to residents in the weeks ahead. In the meantime, Surrey County Council issued this statement on their appointment of an enforcement contractor.
