Arnison Road Phone Mast Rejected
12 August 2021
We are pleased to report that the application to instal a 20 metre high phone mast at the junction of Arnison Road and Bridge Road has been rejected by Elmbridge Council.
There were numerous objections from local residents, and MRA Chairman Stuart Selleck submitted strong arguments against the applicaton on behalf of the MRA, pointing out that the proposed siting and appearance would cause particular harm to the character of the area and the local street scene, noting also its proximity to the East Molesey Conservation Area. It is good news that the very strong objections to this mast have been upheld.
