Phone Mast at Arnison Road/Bridge Road Junction

Last year Elmbridge Council received a planning application for a phone mast at the junction of Bridge Road and Arnison Road. Local residents and MRA Councillors raised serious concerns about the application, and after careful consideration the Council refused planning permission for the mast.

We were very pleased with this outcome, but unfortunately that was not the end of the story because the applicants lodged an appeal, and an independent Planning Inspector has now overturned the Council’s decision and awarded planning permission for the mast. This is disappointing as there is nothing more the Council can do.
